Three Cases of Intersex

Abstract

|
"We have report 3 cases of intersex who was admitted to Dep. of Urology, St. Mary`s Hospital confirmed by the result of observation on sex chromatin, external or internal genitalia etc. This patient consist of 1 cases of true hermaphroditism, and 2 cases of female pseudohermaphroditism. The 1st case of true hermaphroditism looked like hypospadias male was confirmed evidence of ovary on Lt. side and ovotestis on Rt. side. The child was performed removal of testis on Rt. side and vaginoplasty according to patient wish. The 2nd case of female pseudohermaphroditism was confirmed by explo-laparotomy which revealed fallopian tube and both ovary. Phallectomy and vaginoplasty was performed. The 3rd case of female pseudohermaphroditism had degenerative change of female gonad and reproductive organ with absence of testicle. According to patient wish, correction of hypospadias was done with performance of total hysterectomy and oophorectomy."
